Terms and Conditions
Reservations are held with a credit card and charged a $1.00 deposit at the time of booking. The
remaining balance is charged 7 days prior to your arrival and becomes non-refundable. A credit card
is the only accepted form of payment.
Minimum Stay Requirements:
Reservations require a two-night minimum for weekends and major holidays. Weekday reservations
can be booked for one night. If availability allows, a one night stay during the weekend may be
Lokal Hotel has no on-site concierge or personnel. Prior to your arrival you will be provided with a 4
digit access code for the front door and for your suite. We can be reached from 9 AM – 9 PM via text/

10:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Strictly Enforced – should guest violate this policy, a
warning will be given. A second violation will result in immediate eviction from the hotel
Early Arrivals and Late Departures:
If your arrival is before 11 AM and you would like immediate access to your room, we recommend
reserving for the prior night. Similarly, for late departures, reserving an additional night will
guarantee access until you leave the hotel. Late check-outs are subject to availability and charged
based on actual departure time. Late Check-outs that are not approved ahead of time will be subject
to a $200 fee.
- 10% room rate & taxes until 11:30 AM
- 15% room rate & taxes until 12:00 PM
- 20% room rate & taxes until 12:30 PM
- 25% room rate & taxes until 1:00 PM
Lokal is a 4-story historic walk-up only building. There is no elevator or handicap access.
Due to capacity and space, we offer limited services on luggage storage before and after check-out.
Cancellations made within 7 days of check-in will be fully charged. If your travel plans change and
you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 7 days prior to your arrival date to receive a
full refund. There are no refunds for shortened stays or early departures.
Should any action by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the hotel, or if any inappropriate behavior
is brought to the attention of the hotel, Lokal reserves the right to request that the guest vacate their
room without refund.
Maximum of 2 overnight guests, and 2 daytime visitors per 1-bedroom suite, and 4 overnight guests,
and 4 daytime visitors per 2-bedroom suite.
No Party Policy:
Lokal Hotel enforces a strict No Party Policy for the comfort and security of all hotel guests.
Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time. Should guest violate this policy, a warning will be
issued. A second violation will result in immediate eviction from the hotel without refund.
Lokal is a 100% non-smoking facility. Any evidence of smoking in the guest’s room will result in a
Lokal Hotel is a pet-free environment. A $1000 fee will be charged if violated.
Photography / Commercial Use:
Commercial photography and filming are prohibited on property without prior approval from Hotel
Management. A $1000 fee will be charged if violated.
Old City Parking (304 Race Street, a 1-2 minute walk from the Hotel) for overnight parking. $25/
night. Payment is handled independently on location.
We provide a full housekeeping service prior to check-in. A light cleaning service during guest stay
can be provided at the guest’s request for $50 a day between 11 AM until 3 PM.
Robes, towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided for guest comfort and
convenience. Items are not gratuitous. Guest will be charged a replacement fee if taken.
Furniture and Room Furnishings:
All furniture, furnishings and kitchenware must be returned to it’s original placement prior to checking
out. Violations will result in an additional fee.
Upon booking we require a credit card on hold for any damages beyond normal use of our amenities
incurred during the rental of the room. The guest authorizes Lokal to charge the cost of repair of
such damage or loss of such items caused by themselves, or any person for whom they are
responsible. Such damage would include the cost of cleaning bedding and upholstery, and
fumigation if the guest smokes in a room, and/or damage to furniture, rugs, walls and fixtures as well
as replacing missing items such as bedding, towels, furnishings, kitchenware, etc.
For guest safety and the protection of this historic building and its furnishings, the use of candles in
guest rooms is prohibited.
