Chalet Guide

We’ve worked hard to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay just like home. Slip into our custom robes and enjoy our locally-sourced bath products. Put our full kitchen to the test and whip up a homemade dinner for you and your crew. Enjoy a game night inside or a game tournament in the outdoor shed.

Just like home, only better.

Music: Sonos

Check out Sonos and easily connect to the music right on your phone.

Outdoor Music

Connect to the deck via your phone’s bluetooth on Sonos. The Sonos More controls the small speaker. Take it to the game shed or sit by the fire and enjoy!

Fire, Fire, Fire

Firewood can be found next to the game shed. Feel free to use it while you are here, but do be responsible and please don’t take it off site (firewood is expensive!). You’ve heard of Smoky the Bear – never leave a fire unattended. All fires should be doused with water when finished or at the end of the night. There is an ash bucket provided for your use – remove the extra ash to keep the air flow going under the fire for maximum heat and enjoyment. And most importantly – please use caution at all times. We want fires to be fun!

Grill Instructions

The Big Green Egg is so much more than a grill – it can smoke, roast, bake and more – it’s the ultimate cooking experience! Check out The Big Green Egg book for detailed instructions.

Please note:

There is lump hardwood Charcoal provided. Fire starters are provided – located with the charcoal.

Please DO NOT use lighter fluid – it will ruin the grill!

  1. Load charcoal (old charcoal can be reused, even if gray)
  2. Light charcoal with fire starters
  3. Leave the grill wide open until it heats up 4. Close grill and adjust airflow at the top and bottom to reach desired temperature

When done, close both air gills to put out charcoal and be ready for the next guest!

Hot Tub

The Hot Tub is available to use all year round. Please ensure it is always turned on and the cover placed when not in use.

Bar Area

Our co-owner Chad has an unnatural obsession with bitters, so he has made sure our guests are never without. Please use to your heart’s content, but leave them here. We want all of our friends to enjoy their drinks as bitter as Chad does. Our barware is from Art in the age in Philly – if you love it hit them up and buy some of your own!

Cooking Supplies

We’ve stocked your kitchen with the basics – oil & vinegar, salt & pepper, sugar & spice. We have also provided Rival Brothers Coffee and Steep & Grind Teas for your enjoyment!

Hair Dryers

Located in the first floor bathroom drawer. For all your hair drying needs.

Pack n Play

Located in the basement on the black shelf.

We provide a number of fun games located in the living room credenza for the whole family, including the new Chalet garage equipped with ping pong, darts, a basketball hoop, and more. Inside the house, we have puzzles, cards, games, and more. Please try not to lose the pieces – nobody wants to do a 500 piece puzzle and find the last piece missing. Total buzz kill.

Our outdoor game shed features basketball, ping pong, darts, and more! Challenge your friends to an epic tournament and keep score on the wall-mounted chalkboard for bragging rights!
