Frequently Asked Questions for Lokal Hotel’s Old City location in Philadelphia

Getting to Lokal Hotel Old City

We are located at 139 North 3rd Street between Arch and Race Street.

We do not have onsite parking, but the closest valet parking garage is Old City Parking (304 Race Street, a 1-2 minute walk from the Hotel). Rates are $35/night and payment is handled independently on location. To load into the hotel, guests are welcome to use our Hotel Loading spot located directly in front of the hotel. Please be sure to place a our PPA placard (located inside the entryway on the closet door) on your dashboard or the PPA will ticket you!

Prior to your arrival you will be provided with a 4 digit access code for the front door and for your suite.

Staying at Lokal Hotel Old City

You must be 25 or older to book a room. Please note that for security purposes, we ask all guests to provide a valid government or state-issued photo ID prior to check-in.

No, all of our hotels are pet-free facilities and do not allow pets. Should you have an ADA certified service animal (not an emotional support pet) please reach out to us directly to book. 

Due to the architecture of the building, Lokal Old City is a 4-story historic walk-up only. There is no elevator or handicap access.

Due to capacity and space, we do not offer luggage storage at Lokal Old City, however, guests are welcome to store their belongings in the downstairs lobby which is locked and monitored 24/7.

Due to no on-site staff or concierge, Lokal can not accept any on-site mail or packages.

Lokal Hotel enforces a strict No Party Policy for the comfort and security of all hotel guests.  Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time. Should guests violate this policy, a violation will result in immediate eviction from the hotel without refund and a violation fee.

Commercial photography and filming are prohibited on property without prior approval from Lokal Hotel. Any unauthorized use of images of Lokal Hotel or its contents is strictly prohibited and will result in a fee of up to $1,000.

We provide a full housekeeping service prior to check-in. Mid-stay cleanings can be accommodated between 11 – 2 PM for $50/cleaning.

We will make every effort to honor special requests such as a specific floor, room location, extra towels, etc. prior to your arrival. All special requests are noted on reservations and we will do our best to accommodate. However, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance.

Reservations & Cancelations

Cancellations are free to make up to 7 days prior to your arrival date. Cancellations made within 7 days of check-in will be fully charged. There are no refunds for shortened stays, early departures, weather conditions, illness, personal emergencies, or schedule changes.
