Invisible Service, Boutique Hotel Now Taking Reservations for April 2017
Lokal is Philadelphia’s first “invisible service” boutique hotel, combining the freedom and comfort of living in Philadelphia with the adventure of visiting.
Lokal, Philadelphia’s newest boutique hotel is now taking reservations for April 3rd, 2017 and beyond. Featuring six apartment style suites, Lokal will offer visitors the chance to experience the local Philadelphia lifestyle in a beautifully designed space that feels like home. Lokal, located in Old City, is making waves with its innovative invisible service, which will anticipate the needs of traveler and offer a highly curated and authentic Philly experience. With a focus on both high-end design and top of the line service, Lokal seeks to provide an alternative option to the discerning traveler.
Chad Ludeman, co-owner of Lokal Hotel states, “One of the key elements of our business is that we are a small, boutique hotel, going into unique residential neighborhoods, where larger hotels just wouldn’t fit,” says Chad Ludeman, co-owner of Lokal Hotel. “We want to bring the local Philly experience to the customer.”
The hotel is located in the heart of Old City, nestled among independently owned boutique shops, cafes and galleries on tree-lined north 3rd Street. Easy access to historical sites in Old City, as well as the more local eclectic galleries, fashionable boutique shopping, and the exceptional dining experiences Philly has to offer makes the location prime for vacationers and travelers seeking local flavor.
The uber-talented Jersey Ice Cream Company design team outfitted the hotel in a very warm mid-century modern meets industrial style. Features include natural plaster walls, brass fixtures, timelessly tiled bathrooms, walk in showers and soaking claw foot tubs in select rooms. All units are loft apartment style and feature full kitchens, living rooms and washer/dryers.
Courtney Ludeman, co-owner and manager, says that the hotel will be perfect for the adventurous traveler looking for something different. “We wanted something that would be beautiful, as well as functional. Whether it be a family traveling on vacation looking for more space, or a wedding party looking to book all six rooms, we want to provide our guests with a top of the line experience in a true Philadelphia neighborhood.”
That “Lokal Experience” is key to Chad as well. “ We want our guests to truly feel like a local Philadelphian. From staying in a beautiful apartment style room, to our local recommendations of things to do – we want you to experience Philly the way we do.”
Located at 139 N 3rd Street, Lokal Hotel is easily accessible to 95N, 676, as well as the Market Frankford Line and the Route 5 Bus. Parking is available within half a block.
The hotel will boast “invisible service” meaning the staff will anticipate guest needs and create a high level of behind-the-scenes curated experience. Guests with receive automated coded check-in, as well as in room Ipads with multiple service driven apps, including food delivery, grocery delivery and more – all that can be charged directly to the room. The staff and service are never more than a screen touch away, available for communication via text, email, social media or old fashioned phones. Additionally, the main offices are located in Philadelphia, so if a guest request or requires in-person service, the hotel is ready to accommodate.
The official launch party of the hotel will take place on April 1st, in conjunction with its downstairs neighbor and salon, Barnet Fair – a hip new salon focusing on modern cuts, color and makeup. Rates for one bedroom units will start at $195 per night, while two bedroom units start at $240 per night. Interested parties and find out more and book rooms at www.staylokal.com.
