We are thrilled to have you and your family as our guests! The following Terms & Conditions have been established based on industry standards, operational procedures, and our personal experience of owning and operating Stay Lokal since 2017.
As our hotel guest, by booking your stay with us you are agreeing to abide by all of our terms, conditions, and procedures. They are presented here to help promote our guests’ safety and enjoyment and to ensure that each guest is aware of the understandings between Stay Lokal and the guest.
Below are our general Terms & Conditions. Our policies may change, so please check back often:

Lokal Hotel Fishtown: 1421 N Front St, Philadelphia, PA 19122
Reservations are held with a credit card at the time of booking. The total balance is due 7 days prior to your arrival and will be processed on the card on file. Credit cards will be authorized the day of check-in for incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until the day of your departure, at which time the amount actually incurred during your stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 7-10 days to be released by your bank and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges. A credit card is the only accepted form of payment.
Cancellations made within 7 days of check-in are non-refundable. Because of our size, cancellations affect us significantly. For any cancellation, we must receive 7 days notice prior to your confirmed arrival for a full refund of your reservation. You are always welcome to send a friend or family member in your place. Lokal is not responsible for weather, family emergencies, illness or other changes in plans. We appreciate your understanding.
Lokal has no on-site concierge or personnel. We ask that all of our guests provide a copy of their photo ID and credit card used prior to their stay. A few days prior to arrival, guests will be provided with a 4 digit access code for the front door and for reserved suite.

9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
The City of Philadelphia and Lokal Hotel strictly enforce a 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM quiet hour. Please be respectful to those around you while enjoying your visit with us. Amplified sound is not allowed. This includes loud music, DJ’s or amplified voices. Any complaint made by another guest or neighbor may result in immediate eviction and a fine between $500 to $2,000.
Strictly Enforced – should guest violate this policy will result in immediate eviction from the hotel without refund and a violation fee.
Early Arrivals and Late Departures:
Please contact us in advance if you are looking for an early arrival or late departure. Late departures not approved of in advance are subject to a $200 fine.
Should any action by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the hotel, or if any inappropriate behavior is brought to the attention of the hotel, Lokal reserves the right to request that the guest vacate their room without refund.
For guest safety and security, Lokal has 24/7 monitored audio and visual security surveillance in the stairwell and common areas.
We will make every effort to honor special requests such as a specific floor, room location, extra towels, etc. prior to your arrival. All special requests are noted on reservations and we will do our best to accommodate. However, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance.
Old City: Due to the architecture of the building, Lokal Old Cityis a 4-story historic walk-up only. There is no elevator or handicap access.
Fishtown: Lokal Hotel Fishtown is a 4 floor walkup. The Garden Jawn – Unit 02, located on the ground floor, is handicap accessible.
Old City: Due to capacity and space, we do not offer luggage storage, however, guests are welcome to store their belongings in the downstairs lobby which is locked and monitored 24/7. Lokal is not liable for any missing or damaged items.
Fishtown: We offer storage in the basement. Lokal is not liable for any missing or damaged items.
Mail and Packages:
Due to no on-site staff or concierge, Lokal can not accept any on-site mail or packages.
Maximum of 2 overnight guests per 1-bedroom suite, and 4 overnight guests per 2-bedroom suite. Daytime visitors can not exceed 2 per studio and 4 per 2-bedroom. An occupancy fee can incur when violated.
No Party Policy:
Lokal Hotel enforces a strict No Party Policy for the comfort and security of all hotel guests and property. Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time. Should guest violate this policy, a violation will result in immediate eviction from the hotel without refund and a violation fee.
Commercial photography and filming are prohibited on property without prior approval from Lokal Hotel. Any unauthorized use of images of Lokal Hotel or its contents is strictly prohibited and will result in a fee of up to $1,000.
Old City Old City Old City Parking (304 Race Street, a 1-2 minute walk from the Hotel) for overnight parking. Rates vary. Payment is handled independently on location.
Fishtown Park America (1320 N Front St, a 1-2 minute walk from the hotel) for overnight parking. Rates vary. No in and out privileges.
We provide a full housekeeping service prior to check-in and after check-out. Mid-stay cleanings can be accommodated (availability and COVID dependent) for $50 per cleaning.
Lokal is a 100% smoke-free facility and does not permit smoking of any kind.. Any evidence of smoking in the guest’s room or complaints made from hotels guests will result in a fee of up to $1,000. This includes smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, diffusers, hookahs, incense, cigars and candle burning.
Lokal Hotel is a pet-free environment. A fee up to $1000 will be charged if violated. ADA certified service animals are allowed with prior notice and documentation.
Furniture and Room Furnishings:
All furniture, furnishings and kitchenware must be returned to it’s original placement prior to checking out. Items can not be removed or moved to another room. Violations will result in an additional fee.
Damage, Missing Items & Excessive Cleaning:
Upon booking we require a credit card on hold for any damages and excessive cleanings beyond normal use of our amenities incurred during the guest’s stay. The guest authorizes Lokal to charge the cost of repair of such damage or loss of such items caused by themselves, or any person for whom they are responsible. Such damage would include the cost of cleaning bedding and upholstery, and fumigation if the guest smokes in a room, and/or damage to furniture, rugs, walls and fixtures as well as replacing missing items such as bedding, towels, furnishings, kitchenware, etc.
